Dolma (stuffed grape leave) vegetarian recipe

OK to day i am gonna teach you the easiest dolma ever i know so many recipes for dolma and this is the easiest one and don't let the easy word let you down cause its so tasty that's every time me and my mum make it nothing is left how much we make it doesn't matter it just disappears the family loves this and this is a kurdish recipe by my mum it means she played with it a little bit they put yogurt and we didn't so yeah lets get to our ingredients

1- grape leaves
2-1/4kg green broad beans
3-1 onion
for the stuffing:
4- green onions
5- garlic
6- dill or its also known as Lao coriander 7- 2tb sp olive oil
8- 1/4 cup brown rice
9- 1/2 tsp Lemon Salt (lemondozy)
10- 1 tsp salt

and lets get started

bang your onion on the board til it's a little bit more mushy then cut the tow sides and peel the onion and then cut the onion crosswise only halfway please this is important only half way then carefully begin to get the onion flakes one by one and if some breaks a little bit its ok you can use the i personally use the ones the are broke into tow halves its gonna end up in the stomach what it matters is the taste right and you have to stop when your onion is kinda small and move on to the next one if you are making more now this was the kinda hard part whats left is so easy wash your grape leaves and your green broad beans and your dill then peel your garlic and now you are ready yaaay ok too excited sorry

the stuffing :

chop your green onions and the left over of your onions and your garlic and your dill add 2 tbs of your olive oil and then mix every thing together now wash your brown rice and drain it and add in your salt and your lemon salt and lastly add it to the vegetable mixture and mix it very well and you can taste it to see if it needs more salt or lemon salt but don't swallow it and don't worry it suppose to be sour so yeah now every thing is ready

lets get started

How to :

put your green broad beans in the bottom of your cooking pot

fill in your onions but don't over fill it

place it over the green broad beans

after ending the onions get your grape leave and fill them not on this side
 but on this one

now your done add the rest of the olive oil and cover every thing with whats left from the grape leaves add a cup of water on them

and place it on a medium tow low fire it will take half an hour to cook how to know is ready well listen to it in the beginning you will hear the sound of the water boiling and after a while it will steam out and you will hear the sound of the oil i don't know whats called in english you know the (chik chik chik ) sound let it do that for about a minute and turn it off let it rest for half an hour or 20 minutes after that remove the grape leave on the top

then flip it over on a big flat dish and put it on the table and enjoy

you can double every thing you can use white rice and as i said there are so many recipes for dolma and in the future i will be sharing with you some other delicious once who said healthy food is not tasty trust evin with the brown rice you will be amazed and its really really healthy and easy

NOTE:

the brown rice that i am using doesn't need to be soaked if yours need to be then soak it and then add it to the vegetable mixture or read the instruction on your rice

Making every thing except the cooking time will take you an hour maybe and the cooking time will be half an hour and this depends on how much you make it but trust me its really really easy and healthy and so delicious
